New planters installed on Highfields development

Findern Parish Council has installed six, beautiful 3 tier planted towers on the Highfields development.

Picture of 3 tier planter filled with summer plants, located on the corner of a park beside a road in Highfields development. This week, as part of their commitment to improve the area around the Highfields development, Findern Parish Council took delivery of six planted towers from Plantscape, a national company that are responsible for many floral displays in towns and villages across the country.

The towers have been placed throughout the Highfields estate, and the Parish Council would like to thank the Greenbelt Group and the Consortium of builders for granting permission to locate them.

The towers are already well-established and over the coming weeks they will grow to become covered in flowers from top to bottom. The system uses special containers that can hold 7 days of water to keep the plants well watered. Plantscape will visit weekly to water and maintain the towers but we ask all residents to look out for any issues with the towers and report this to the Clerk of Findern Parish Council on clerk@findernparishcouncil.gov.uk
