The next Ordinary Meeting of Findern Parish Council will take place at 7.00pm on Thursday, 12 March 2026. The meeting will be held at the Methodist Church, Lower Green, Findern DE65 6AD.
PRESS AND PUBLIC ARE WELCOME TO ATTEND THE MEETING. The first 15 minutes of the meeting are allocated for public speaking; for residents to raise any issues.

It is with deep sadness that we share the news of the passing of one of our Parish Councillors.
Since joining the Parish Council in 2023, Councillor Hans Hettmann served our community with dedication, kindness, and a genuine commitment to improving parish life.
Throughout his time on the Council, Councillor Hettmann worked tirelessly on behalf of residents; always willing to give his time, energy and experience.
His contribution to the Parish Council and the wider community will not be forgotten. We are grateful for the service he gave and the positive impact he made.
Our thoughts and sincere condolences are with Hans’ family and friends at this very difficult time.
