NOTICE OF VACANCY

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN

that two casual vacancies have arisen in the Office of Councillor for the Parish Council.

If by 13 March, 2020 (14 days excluding Dies Non, after the date of this notice) a request for an election to fill said vacancies is made in writing to the Returning Officer at the address below by TEN electors per vacancy from the said Parish, an election will be held to fill the vacancies, otherwise the vacancies will be filled by co-option.

If an election is called, it will take place not later than 20 May, 2020.

Residents will be aware that for some time the Parish Council has been trying to purchase the 1.2 acres of land off Common Piece Lane with plans to put this to community use.
