Residents will be aware that for some time the Parish Council has been trying to purchase the 1.2 acres of land off Common Piece Lane with plans to put this to community use. Successful grant application!
The Parish Council have been informed this morning that they have been successful in obtaining a £10,000 grant from South Derbyshire District Council towards building a new BMX track on King George V Playing Field.
